|Allow me to introduce myself…
My name is Diana and I’m here to bring it to you and spread love the
Brooklyn way. This is the borough to be in. From the cute lil coffee shops to the nightlife and cabarets, where you can get down and dirty, like Cats Eye Cabaret in #Bushwick.
We have it all in BK. Why would you want to live anywhere else?
It’s a hip, hot and happening spot to reside, work, and hang out.
The family friendly atmosphere and activities are in heavy rotation and
in abundance like the brand new FAMAJAM children’s dance party,
presented by Party Like Brooklyn, Baby at Greenwood Park in
South Slope, to the highly interactive and immersive, Twinkle Play space
I love how I can take a ride on one of the most infamous roller coasters, The Cyclone or one of the top ferris wheels in the country, The WonderWheel, in Coney Island and then catch a Cyclones ballgame and a fireworks extravaganza, afterward. I live, love and let lose in BK.
If you need the craziest colors adorned on your hair, call on Kristin Jackson at Tomahawk Salon in East Williamsburg. If you want the best doughnuts that you’ve ever tasted, Dough Doughnuts, take the G train around by Clinton Hill and pick up a dozen.
Seriously, I couldn’t pick a better place to live and raise a fam. From the #1 playground in NYC, Brooklyn Bridge Park (Pier 6), I don’t know how many years in a row (trust, more than a few) in Brooklyn Heights to the Feast of Santa Rosalia aka 18th Ave. Feast in Bensonhurst, there’s never a shortage of excitement.
It’s home to #Brooklyn’s Finest, the #King of #NY (#Biggie Smalls) who adorns plenty of walls all around the borough and still lives on through his #murals and #music, not to mention the biggest music mogul around, #Jay-Z. Take a walk through Marcy or pass St. James Place for a taste of their #hood. Take a dip through the #BoCoCa neighborhoods and find mom and pop #shops like the infamous, Brooklyn Soda Brooklyn Farmacy in Cobble Hill. #Skate through Sunset Park’s Industry City and play in their arcade for only $5 with unlimited arcade games, ping pong and mini golf.
If you like art, forget the studios on that island next to us, you have the best art along the Bushwick Collective, and plenty of other random “#streetart” as it is dubbed.
Don’t dare call it #graffiti and offend some of the art goons, as they label themselves.
Brooklyn’s a hot spot all year round but the #Summer calls for #drinks by the water, like at Red Hook’s Brooklyn Crab.
Too bad no trains around that area or on the Eastern side of the Belt Pkwy but other than that, most can get around Bk with public transportation, #CitiBike, or #Car2Go.
You’re sure to find something for everyone, in all the BK neighborhoods from #Boerum Hill to #Brownsville.
Remember, I’ve got you covered from down in #Dyker Heights all the way up to #Prospect Heights.
See ya around BK.
